Liam's First Beach Trip!

Liam got to experience his first beach trip this weekend. We went to Mexico Beach and had a great time. Cousin Emily went with us and we really enjoyed having her there. Kaleigh had a ball. She LOVED the water although it was still a little cool, it didn't bother her a bit. We got in the pool and Liam loved that....guess it was like a big bathtub to him. They both splashed and played with each other. It was so sweet. It's hard to believe that he is almost 8 months old! He is in to everything within reach now. He gets so upset that he can't keep up with Kaleigh. He squeals and screams when she runs off from him. He is crawling really well now but still no teeth. Poor little guy is going to have to gum food forever. He loves to eat and tries almost everything he can swallow without choking on. He had his first saltine cracker this weekend and gobbled it up. He's still chewing at his sippy cup but gets the water in somehow. He's (unfortunely) still not sleeping through the night. Most nights he wakes only once for a bottle. I just go with the flow because I've got to have rest to be able to keep up with the two of them. As far as Kaleigh.....she is wide open! She has about every book and dvd memorized. It amazes me at what she remembers. I can start to read a book and she can finish it. She has slowed down with the ABCs so I can really understand her now. And I don't know how far she can count. She'll go up to 20 I know. And all and all, she talks nonstop! She is still loving Liam but treats him terribly some times. I feel so sorry for him....I promised him that I'd take care of him and that he could pay her back one day hahaha! Long update, but it's been awhile since I had time to update on them both. They are amazing and we love them to death!!!
